The development process at GST is the core of an agile product management process. In ever shorter vehicle development times, knowledge, competence and experience are the basis for fast decisions. In the automotive environment, our standardized processes guarantee that customer-specific requirements are met in all disciplines. Our products are benchmark, developed based on IATF 16949:2016.

Agile project management, state-of-the-art development tools and our core tools provide the framework for more than 100 new developments each year. Our development process is certified according to IATF16949:2016 and we work in line with Functional Safety ISO26262, as well as all necessary product compliance requirements.
APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP professionalized and leanly integrated, result in a successful product release process.

In our environment, we set standards.
We develop standards, and we also check their compliance. Within the scope of product validations, almost all tests can be performed in-house with calibrated testing systems. Whether temperature shock or climatic testing, whether salt bath or leak test – our products are tested close to the application in all product life cycles.
In the development phase, the engineering of the testing is an integral part, also for series production. In the case of ABS sensors, for example, the vehicle installation situation is individually reproduced on a dynamic test bench and each sensor is 100% tested – zero defects are our promise.
Testing in the context of product verification, product validation, product requalification is the responsibility of our development process. Findings flow directly into the maturity of our products in the cycle of continuous improvement.
